Product Overview
4884-227G is a Sn63/Pb37 RA solder wire. It uses the eutectic tin-to lead alloy ratio, with a RA-like flux core. This has a low-melting temperature with a sharp melting/solidification point. This achieves a consistent solder and flux percentage due to our state-of-the-art extrusion wire-drawing machine, which continuously monitors the wire to prevent voids and ensure consistency, providing a top-grade solder wire.
- Eutectic alloy (liquidus=solidus temperature)
- Alloy exceeds J-STD-006C, meets J-STD004B and ASTM B 32 purity requirements
- Rosin-activated flux, fast wetting and flowing
- Non-corrosive and non-conductive residue
- Store refrigerated between 18 to 25°C away from direct heat or sunlight
- Spool packing, 23 gauge, 0.025inch diameter
- ROM1 RA flux classification, rosin flux type, moderate flux activity
- Pass corrosion test, detection silver chromate Cl–+ Br–
- 150 to 160 acid number (mgKOH/g sample), 80°C softening point of flux extract
- 0.5 to 2.0% halides range (by weight), <gt/>1.0 x 10⁹ ohm surface insulation resistance (SIR)
