1322XUSB is a USB development kit for MC13224 2.4GHz 802.15.4 RF and 32bit ARM7 microcontroller. The MC13224 is a third-generation ZigBee platform that incorporates a complete, low-power, 2.4GHz RF transceiver, 32bit ARM7 core based MCU, hardware acceleration for both IEEE 802.15.4 MAC and AES security and a full set of MCU peripherals into a 99 pin LGA platform in package (PiP). This development kit is an ideal platform for more complex IEEE 802.15.4 and ZigBee applications by providing plenty of memory and expansion capabilities. The 1322XUS includes a 1322X-USB USB stick which is programmed to function as an 802.15.4/ZigBee packet sniffer and can be used with the daintree sensor network analyzer software. The device can also be reprogrammed to support customer applications, providing a small form factor device for PC connectivity. The BeeKit provides a simple GUI approach to configure network settings, allowing the embedded designer to concentrate on building the application.
