ADUM340E0WBRQZ is a quad-channel digital isolator based on Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high-speed, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and back-to-back monolithic air core transformer technology, this isolation component provides outstanding performance characteristics and meet CISPR 32/EN 55032 Class B limits at 5Mbps. It is approved by UL recognition: 3000V rms for 1 minute per UL 1577. Applications include serial peripheral interface (SPI) data converter isolation, RS-485 and controller area network with flexible data rate (CAN FD) industrial field bus isolation, PWM controller signal isolation, general-purpose multichannel isolation.
- High common-mode transient immunity is 180kV/µs typical at (VIx = VDDx, VCM = 1000V)
- High robustness to radiated and conducted noise, 2.25V to 5.5V level translation
- ±8KV IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection across isolation barrier
- ±5KV HBM ESD protection on input/output pins
- Pulse width is 6.6ns minimum at (TA = 25°C, VDD1 = VDD2 = 5V)
- Data rate is 150Mbps minimum at (within PWD limit, TA = 25°C, VDD1 = VDD2 = 5V)
- Propagation delay is 6.2ns typical at (50% input to 50% output, TA = 25°C, VDD1 = VDD2 = 5V)
- Pulse width distortion is 0.3ns typical at (TA = 25°C, VDD1 = VDD2 = 5V)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
