                      Product Overview

                      ULN2804A contains eight Darlington transistors with common emitters and integral suppression diodes for inductive loads. Each Darlington features a peak load current rating of 600mA (500mA continuous) and can withstand at least 50V in the OFF state. Outputs may be paralleled for higher current capability. The ULN2804A has a 10.5kohm input resistor for 6 to 15V CMOS. It is supplied in an 18-lead plastic DIP with a copper lead form and features the convenient input-opposite-output pinout to simplify the board layout.

                      • Eight Darlington transistors with common emitters
                      • Output leakage current is 500mA max (TA = 70°C, VCE = 50V, VI = 1V)
                      • Output voltage to 50V, integral suppression diodes
                      • Versions for all popular logic families, output can be paralleled
                      • Inputs pinned opposite outputs to simplify board layout
                      • Collector-emitter saturation voltage is 1.1V typ (IC = 200mA, IB = 350µA, TA = 25°C)
                      • Input current is 0.35mA typ (VI = 5V, VI = 12V, TA = 25°C)
                      • Input capacitance is 15pF typ (TA = 25°C), turn-on and off delay time is 0.25µs typ (TA = 25°C)
                      • Clamp diode leakage current is 50µA max (VR = 50V, TA = 25°C)
                      • DIP-18 package, operating ambient temperature range from -20 to 85°C
