The new AKM series, the latest series on offer from XP Power to offer Energy Efficiency Level VI and CoC Tier 2 performance in a desktop/external power supply. This new range has both medical (2 x MOPP) and ITE safety approvals and class II construction ideal for home healthcare applications. The AKM series comes in power levels of 36W & 65W. Both meet UL/EN/IEC 60950-1 and ES/CSA/EN/IEC 60601-1 international safety approvals and provide 2 x MOPP with 4000VAC isolation. All models meet EN 55032 Class B limits for both conducted & radiated emissions and 4th edition medical EMC standards. Average efficiency ranges from 89-91% and when operated with no load the input power is less than 75mW. The units are housed in in a black plastic case that measures only 4.25 x 1.96 x 1.33” (108 x 50 x 33.8mm).
